RV Service at Mevert Automotive & Tire Center

Keeping your RV serviced means you are safer on the road. When we service your RV, we complete a complimentary check of the vehicle related systems. Services include:

Items we check include:

  • Tires: We’ll check for normal and uneven wear. Uneven wear signifies a possible alignment issue, suspension issue, or improper air pressure.
  • Suspension and steering, including gearboxes, racks, shocks, struts, springs, bushings and tie rods.
  • Coolant system, including radiator hoses, thermostat, water pump, radiator and fans.
  • Air conditioning system, including the compressor.
  • Fluid leaks, including transmission fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, oil and coolant leaks.

RV House Services

We’ll check, and if necessary, replace the house batteries in your RV. If you don’t feel comfortable de-winterizing the plumbing system yourself, we’ll drain the antifreeze from the plumbing, flush it, and get it ready for you to add water. We cannot flush the gray and black water holding tanks, but we can get the rest of the plumbing. We recommend that you empty the tanks before you leave on your trip unless you know that you will be hooking up directly to a septic or sewer at your destination.
